shrimp caesar salad

This shrimp Caesar salad combines tender, seasoned shrimp with crisp romaine lettuce and a creamy, tangy Caesar dressing for a refreshing and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 large head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup croutons
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
  3. In a large salad bowl, combine chopped romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, and lemon juice; toss gently to coat.
  4. Add the cooked shrimp, Parmesan cheese, and croutons to the salad.
  5. Toss lightly and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, try grilling the shrimp instead of pan-cooking, and add anchovies or a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the dressing.
