  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a 6-cup muffin tin or line with paper liners.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Whisk in sugar until fully combined.
  4. Add eggs and egg yolks one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Gently fold in flour and salt just until incorporated.
  7. Pour batter evenly into prepared muffin cups, filling each about three-quarters full.
  8. Press 3-4 fresh raspberries into the center of each cupcake, gently pushing them down.
  9. Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are firm but centers are still soft.
  10. Let cupcakes cool for 5 minutes, then carefully remove from tin.
  11. Sift powdered sugar over cupcakes before serving, if desired, and enjoy warm to savor the molten center.
