Lavender Strawberry Lemonade

Lavender Strawberry Lemonade

A refreshing and floral twist on classic lemonade, combining the sweetness of ripe strawberries with the delicate aroma of lavender for a perfect summer drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-5 lemons)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 2 teaspoons dried culinary lavender buds
  • Ice cubes
  • Strawberry slices and lemon wedges for garnish
  • Fresh lavender sprigs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, sugar, and dried lavender buds. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes to create a lavender simple syrup.
  2. Remove the syrup from heat, strain out the lavender buds, and let it cool completely.
  3. In a blender, puree the fresh strawberries until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds if desired.
  4. In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, lavender syrup, strawberry puree, and remaining 3 cups of cold water. Stir well to combine.
  5. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the lavender strawberry lemonade over the ice, and garnish with strawberry slices, lemon wedges, and fresh lavender sprigs if using.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing floral flavors!

Notes

For a sparkling version, replace the cold water with chilled sparkling water just before serving for a fizzy delight.
