Grilled BBQ Chicken Thighs

Juicy grilled BBQ chicken thighs infused with smoky flavors and a tangy homemade barbecue sauce, perfect for a flavorful and satisfying meal.

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the chicken thighs.
  4. Place chicken thighs skin side down on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  5. Flip the chicken and brush generously with barbecue sauce.
  6. Continue grilling for another 6-8 minutes, basting with more barbecue sauce, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra smoky flavor, add a handful of wood chips to your grill or serve with coleslaw and grilled corn for a complete BBQ feast.
