  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 package (15 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1 cup assorted Easter candy (e.g., gummy worms, chocolate eggs)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar and mix until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and instant pudding mix until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  4. Fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until smooth.
  5. Gently fold in the whipped topping.
  6. In a 9×13 inch dish, spread a layer of crushed Oreos on the bottom.
  7. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the crushed Oreos.
  8. Repeat with another layer of crushed Oreos and the remaining pudding mixture.
  9. Top with remaining crushed Oreos and Easter candy for decoration.
  10. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For an extra festive touch, serve with pastel-colored gummy worms and be sure to refrigerate overnight for best flavor.
