Cookie Croissant

Cookie Croissants combine flaky, buttery croissant dough with your favorite cookie dough, delivering a decadent and irresistible pastry perfect for dessert or a special treat.

  • 1 sheet puff pastry or croissant dough
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the croissant dough sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the dough into squares about 3×3 inches.
  4. Place a small spoonful of cookie dough in the center of each square.
  5. Fold or roll the dough around the cookie dough, sealing the edges well.
  6. Place the filled dough pieces on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar if desired.
  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a gooey center, slightly underbake the croissants and enjoy warm. You can also experiment with different cookie dough flavors like peanut butter or double chocolate.
