  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it into small crumbles.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic; sauté until softened and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the chili powder, paprika, cumin, dry mustard, and cook for 1 minute to bloom the spices.
  4. Pour in the tomato sauce, water, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, and sugar; stir well to combine.
  5. Reduce heat to low and simmer the sauce uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, then remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
