Cajun Crawfish Party Dip

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked crawfish tails, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 small bell pepper, finely diced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth.
  3. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Fold in chopped crawfish tails, diced bell pepper, and sliced green onions until evenly distributed.
  5. Transfer mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the dip is hot and bubbly and the top is lightly browned.
  7. Remove from oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
  8. Serve warm with crackers, tortilla chips, or sliced baguette.

Notes

For an extra smoky flavor, add a dash of liquid smoke or top with sliced jalapeños before baking.
