Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower

Crispy air-fried cauliflower tossed in a tangy and spicy buffalo sauce, perfect as a healthy appetizer or snack that’s full of flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, water, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Toss the cauliflower florets in the batter, coating each piece evenly.
  4. Place the battered cauliflower in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  5. Air fry for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  6. While the cauliflower cooks, combine the buffalo sauce and olive oil in a small bowl.
  7. Once cooked, toss the cauliflower in the buffalo sauce until well coated.
  8. Return the coated cauliflower to the air fryer and cook for an additional 5 minutes to set the sauce.
  9. Remove from the air fryer, garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing.

Notes

For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the batter or buffalo sauce. Serve with celery sticks for a classic buffalo experience.
