Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Breast

Juicy and flavorful, this Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Breast is a quick and healthy way to enjoy tender chicken with a smoky barbecue twist. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or meal prep.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the chicken breasts with the oil and spice mixture evenly on both sides.
  4. Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken breasts over.
  6. Brush the cooked side with BBQ sauce.
  7. Cook for another 7-8 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Remove from the air fryer and brush the other side with BBQ sauce.
  9. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken breasts in the spice mixture and BBQ sauce for 1 hour before cooking.
