- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup pink candy melts
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freeze-dried strawberry powder (optional for extra flavor and color)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, measure out the rice cereal squares and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips, pink candy melts, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between, until melted and smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract and freeze-dried strawberry powder if using.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently stir to coat all pieces evenly.
- Transfer the coated cereal to a large resealable plastic bag. Add powdered sugar and salt, seal the bag, and shake vigorously until the cereal is well coated.
- Spread the Muddy Buddies on a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool and set for about 30 minutes.
- Once set, store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
Notes
