Tuna Noodle Casserole

A classic, comforting Tuna Noodle Casserole featuring tender noodles, flaked tuna, and creamy sauce baked to golden perfection.

  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 cans (5 ounces each) tuna, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crushed potato chips or breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine tuna, cream of mushroom soup, milk, peas, cheddar cheese, onion, and butter. Mix well.
  4. Fold in the cooked noodles and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle crushed potato chips or breadcrumbs evenly over the top.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle some fresh parsley on top before serving or add a dash of paprika to the topping.
