Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

  • Chopped fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together tahini, honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, and water until smooth.
  2. Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and pour the tahini honey sauce over them.
  4. Cover the skillet and poach the salmon gently in the sauce for about 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
  5. Carefully remove salmon from skillet and spoon the sauce over each fillet.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley or cilantro and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve with steamed jasmine rice and a side of sautéed greens, or drizzle with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice just before serving.
