Rotel cream cheese sausage balls

These Rotel cream cheese sausage balls are savory, cheesy bite-sized appetizers perfect for parties or snack time. Made with spicy Rotel tomatoes, cream cheese, and sausage, they offer a deliciously satisfying treat.

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups Bisquick baking mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sausage, softened cream cheese, and drained Rotel. Mix thoroughly until well blended.
  3. Add the shredded cheddar cheese and Bisquick baking mix to the sausage mixture and stir until all ingredients are combined.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on an ungreased baking sheet, spaced about 1 inch apart.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the mixture or serve with a spicy dipping sauce.
