Scale
  • 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 6 whole Oreo cookies, chopped (for mixing in)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.

  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
  5. Mix in sour cream and heavy cream until smooth and combined.
  6. Fold in chopped Oreos gently into the batter.
  7. Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 55-65 minutes until the center is almost set but slightly jiggly.
  9. Turn off the oven and leave cheesecake inside with the door slightly open for 1 hour.
  10. Remove from oven and cool completely at room temperature before chilling in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  11. Garnish with extra Oreos before serving if desired.

Notes

For a firmer cheesecake, chill overnight. Serve with whipped cream or fresh berries for added freshness.
