This Maple Dijon Glazed Beef Tenderloin features a tender, juicy cut of beef enhanced with a sweet and tangy maple and Dijon mustard glaze, perfect for an elegant dinner.

  • 1 (2-pound) beef tenderloin, trimmed
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, olive oil, and fresh thyme.
  3. Season the beef tenderloin generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the tenderloin on a roasting pan and brush half of the maple Dijon glaze evenly over the meat.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes for medium-rare, brushing the remaining glaze every 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve slices garnished with extra thyme if desired.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, marinate the beef in half of the glaze for 1 hour before roasting.
