Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons Kashmiri green tea leaves or Chinese green tea (gunpowder)
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

  3. Add crushed cardamom pods and fennel seeds, and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add the milk and sugar to the tea and bring it back to a gentle boil.
  5. Reduce the heat and simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
