  • 4 oz bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease 4 small ramekins and lightly dust with flour.
  2. Melt butter and chopped chocolate together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in sugar until combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Fold in flour and salt until just combined.
  7. Divide batter evenly among prepared ramekins.
  8. Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft and gooey.
  9. Let cool for 1-2 minutes, then run a knife around edges to loosen and invert onto plates.
