Gluten Free Chicken Tenders

Crispy and flavorful gluten free chicken tenders that are perfect for a quick and healthy meal option.

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup gluten free all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 1/2 cups gluten free breadcrumbs
  • Cooking oil for frying (such as vegetable or avocado oil)

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine gluten free flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and water.
  3. Place gluten free breadcrumbs in a third shallow bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken tender first into the flour mixture, then the egg wash, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Fry chicken tenders in batches for about 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove tenders and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For a healthier option, bake the tenders at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
