White Pizza

White Pizza is a creamy, flavorful alternative to traditional tomato-based pizzas, featuring a blend of cheeses and garlic on a crisp crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the pizza dough onto a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil and minced garlic.
  3. Brush the garlic olive oil evenly over the dough.
  4. Spread ricotta cheese evenly on the dough, leaving a small border at the edges.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the ricotta.
  6. Add crushed red pepper flakes if using, and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice, and serve hot.

Notes

For an extra burst of flavor, drizzle a little truffle oil over the pizza just before serving.
