A rich and creamy peanut sauce perfect for dipping, drizzling, or marinating, offering a delicious balance of savory, sweet, and tangy flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup warm water (adjust for desired consistency)
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes or Sriracha for heat

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame oil until smooth.
  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring to combine.
  3. Gradually add warm water, whisking until the sauce reaches your preferred consistency.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning by adding more soy sauce for saltiness, honey for sweetness, or chili flakes for heat.
  5. Use immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to one week. Stir before serving.
