Crock Pot Turkey Breast

Slow cooked turkey breast in crock pot

Tender and juicy turkey breast cooked effortlessly in a crock pot, perfect for a wholesome and flavorful dinner.

Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb boneless turkey breast
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 carrots, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place sliced onions and carrots at the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. Rub the turkey breast with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  3. Place the turkey breast on top of the vegetables in the crock pot.
  4. Pour chicken broth around the turkey breast.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove the turkey from the crock pot and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve with the cooked vegetables and your favorite sides.

Notes

For extra flavor, baste the turkey with the crock pot juices during cooking or add fresh herbs like parsley before serving.
