Caesar Dressing

This classic Caesar dressing is a creamy, tangy, and savory sauce made with fresh ingredients, perfect for elevating any salad with its rich flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 anchovy fillets, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together minced garlic, anchovy fillets, and Dijon mustard.
  2. Add the lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce, whisking until combined.
  3. Stir in the mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese, mixing until smooth.
  4. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously to emulsify the dressing.
  5. Taste and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper as desired.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half of the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt. This dressing pairs wonderfully with crisp romaine lettuce and homemade croutons.
