Creamy Beef Pasta

Creamy Beef Pasta is a comforting Italian-inspired dish featuring tender ground beef in a rich, velvety sauce served over al dente pasta. Perfect for a hearty weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes and dried Italian herbs. Simmer for 5 minutes to blend flavors.
  5. Reduce heat to low; pour in heavy cream and stir well. Let the sauce simmer gently until it thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the creamy beef sauce.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red chili flakes to the sauce or serve with a side of garlic bread.
