Deliciously savory and cheesy, Cream Cheese Sausage Balls are a perfect bite-sized appetizer combining creamy cheese, spicy sausage, and tender biscuit mix for a crowd-pleasing snack.

  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups biscuit baking mix
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sausage, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, biscuit baking mix, garlic powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika if using.
  3. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet about 1 inch apart.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
