  • 2 cups of diced crisp apples (such as Fuji or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 cup of seedless green grapes, halved
  • 1 cup of seedless red grapes, halved
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced apples and halved grapes.
  2. Drizzle the lemon juice over the fruit and gently toss to prevent browning.
  3. Sprinkle the ground cinnamon evenly over the fruit mixture.
  4. If desired, add honey or maple syrup to add a touch of sweetness and toss gently to combine.
  5. Optionally, stir in the chopped nuts for added crunch and texture.
  6. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes before serving to meld the flavors.
  7. Serve chilled as a refreshing snack or side dish.
