Christmas Cookie Lasagna

A festive and delicious Christmas Cookie Lasagna layers soft cookies, creamy frosting, and rich chocolate for a show-stopping holiday dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed sugar cookies
  • 1 cup crushed gingersnap cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, melted
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • Optional: sprinkles or mini candy canes for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture to create a smooth frosting.
  4. In a serving dish, layer half of the sugar cookie crumbs evenly on the bottom.
  5. Spread half of the cream cheese frosting over the cookie layer.
  6. Drizzle half of the melted chocolate over the frosting, then sprinkle half the crushed gingersnap cookies and peppermint candies.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining sugar cookie crumbs, frosting, melted chocolate, gingersnap cookies, and peppermint candies.
  8. Refrigerate the lasagna for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
  9. Before serving, garnish with sprinkles or mini candy canes if desired.

Notes

For extra crunch, add chopped nuts between layers or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
