Buckeye Dip

Homemade Buckeye Dip close-up

Buckeye Dip is a rich, creamy dessert dip combining peanut butter and chocolate, inspired by the classic buckeye candy. Perfect for parties or as a sweet treat with crackers or fruit.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat together the peanut butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Transfer the peanut butter mixture to a serving bowl and smooth the top.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with butter in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer, spreading evenly.
  5. Refrigerate the dip for at least 1 hour until firm and chilled.
  6. Serve with graham crackers, pretzels, or apple slices for dipping.

Notes

For an extra touch, sprinkle chopped peanuts on top before refrigerating for added texture and flavor.
