Brazilian Mounjaro recipe

Brazilian Mounjaro is a flavorful, rich dish blending traditional Brazilian spices and ingredients to create a hearty and satisfying meal perfect for any occasion.

  • 2 lbs beef or chicken, cut into pieces
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 cups cooked white rice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the beef or chicken pieces and brown on all sides.
  4. Stir in the paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add the sliced red bell pepper and diced tomatoes, cook for 5 minutes until softened.
  6. Pour in the coconut milk, reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes or until the meat is tender and sauce thickens.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
  8. Serve hot over cooked white rice.

Notes

For extra heat, add fresh chopped chili peppers during cooking or serve with hot sauce on the side.
