  • 12 large sea scallops, cleaned and patted dry
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, toss the scallops with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Place the scallops in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch.
  4. Cook for 7-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until scallops are opaque and slightly golden.
  5. Remove from air fryer, drizzle with lemon juice, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
